Heavy Rigid Delivery Driver/Warehouse All-rounder Employer: The client is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Rigid Delivery Driver/Warehouse All-rounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers, helping coordinate warehouse operations, and ensuring that our products are delivered on time, in excellent condition, and with the highest level of customer service. Join a growing team providing innovative electrical solutions to an extensive range of clients.
Key responsibilities:
• Load and unload trucks with forklift or other equipment as required.
• Operate heavy rigid delivery vehicles to deliver products to customers within designated timeframes.
• Ensure that all products are delivered in excellent condition and according to delivery schedules.
• Verify delivery instructions and business requirements before leaving the warehouse. • Willing and fit for manual handling duties.
• Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and organising products.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
• Perform routine checks on vehicles and equipment. Qualifications and Requirements:
• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s License and a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience in the transport and logistics industry
• Forklift licence and experience operating a forklift.
• Telehandler experience is highly desired but not essential.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment, including receiving and dispatching of goods.
• Knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy loads.
Whats in it for you?
