Casual MC Driver – Kununurra ( Centurion Transport )

Job Summary:

Centurion is a privately owned transport company with a long and successful history of delivering safe and environmentally-aware supply chain solutions to the mining, energy, construction and retail sectors. We are currently seeking an expereinced MC Driver to join our depot team in Kununurra. Applicants must be resideintial or willing to relocate at their own cost.

You will be responsible for the following but not limited to: 

• Loading and unloading of general, over-dimensional, refrigerated and dangerous goods freight
• Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
• Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
• Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer sites and depots
• Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork

The successful applicant will need to possess the following: 

• Current MC Driver’s license
• Demonstrated experience driving double/triple road trains
• General freight experience
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Accredited forklift ticket (desirable)
• Dangerous goods license (desirable)
