Job Summary:

A position has opened up for a highly motivated full time farm hand/mechanic to join our team in the coming months.

This is an exciting role, as we are a modern and fast moving farm, who use autonomous spray rigs to maintain our weeds and Terra Cutta equipped scraper tractor to maintain our contour banks.

You will be Required to:

Operate modern machinery with Greenstar/Trimble GPS systems
Operating and maintain headers, planters and spray rigs
Have sound Mechanical and welding knowledge/abilities.
Apply Low stress cattle handling techniques
Have a HR/MC drivers licence or be willing to obtain.
Have attention to detail and be able to work alone or in a team.
Think quickly and be highly motivated

Trade certificates and Chemical handling certificate an advantage

Day to day jobs may include:

Operate Tractors/Headers with Greenstar/Trimble GPS systems
Operation/maintain state of the art autonomous machines for daily work.
Operate earthmoving equipment – dozer, loader and GPS scraper bucket
Service, maintain and repair farming equipment
Mustering on horseback and quad bike
General farm duties
Operate in a team of 5 employees
Reporting directly to farm manager

We are looking for a farm hand with the right attitude to fill this position, not the most experience person that applies. We are more than happy to teach a few skills to the right person.
