MC DRIVERS – PORT HEDLAND ( Campbell Transport )
PORT HEDLAND, KARRATHA, Australia
Expired
URGENTLY SEEKING MC DRIVERS IN PORT HEDLAND!
Rate yourself as a truck driver? Think you can push over 200 tonne of iron ore around the West Australian desert on a daily basis? Driving super-quads is the pinnacle of truck driving, but not everyone has the gumption to do it and do it safely. Do you?
Campbell Transport is a locally owned, transport and freight company. We move general freight, bulk product and livestock, as well as hauling product in the mining sector. Operating for over 20 years, we move thousands of tonnes a day and are only getting busier.
We’re looking for drivers to drive our super quads up in Port Hedland. Never driven quads before? Never worked FIFO? Looking for a total change of scenery, lifestyle and income? If you don’t have the experience but you want to have a punt, we’re happy to give you a shot. We can train you up on doubles until you’re ready to handle the big rigs.
At Campbell Transport, we take safety seriously. We pride ourselves on looking after our people and making sure they get home at the end of the day. Our safety motto is: ‘Don’t get hurt when moving dirt’. What’s the point of making all this money and not being able to spend it in good health?
The deal:
- Full time position with all the bells and whistles: annual leave, sick leave, superannuation etc.
- Flexible rosters. 2:1 or 4:2 for WA, FIFO, DIDO or local residents. Interstate customised rosters can be done by negotiation while COVID restrictions are still in place. The roster will be standard 4:2 for interstate drivers once restrictions have been lifted
- $40+ an hour with a quality bonus on top for good operators.
- Quality accommodation, you’re not living in a camp, you’re living in town.
What we need from you:
- MC Driver licence and experience
- Resume of previous employment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Able to maintain fitness for work, including the ability to pass daily drug and alcohol screening
- A willingness to work, learn and to drive big rigs.
It would be beneficial (but not a dealbreaker) if you had:
- Experience with Road Ranger gear boxes
- Experience driving quads/triples. If you start on doubles you take a slightly lower rate of $38 an hour.
