Job Summary:

Manage the day to day operations of a team of drivers

A number of positions available

Based at Macquarie Park and Lane Cove.

Manage the day to day operations of the parcel delivery team, including but not limited to:

Ensuring all drivers are delivering all parcels for their area on a daily basis
Monitor driver performance against all KPI’s, action any shortfalls and document required actions
Liaise and communicate will all stake holders including Fnet Management, The Australia Post team and the delivery team
Provide in-field driver support as required, ie; vehicle breakdowns, accidents, scanner and delivery issues
Provide contingency delivery support as required

Key Objectives

The primary objective of this position is to effectively maintain and manage the day-to- day operational activities and all duties associated with delivery performance of the team, including but not limited to; Australia Post KPI’s, Fnet requirements , as well as the management of all processes and all reporting requirements.

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years experience in leading a team ( preferable from similar industry but not essential ) or experience in delivering and an understanding of delivery processes.

The successful applicant will also need to have a can-do attitude, be people oriented and customer focused, with the ability to resolve issues, plan for contingencies and help to build a successful team.

Shift hours are 5am to midday ( 7 hrs)

Mon to Fri ( with some weekend work expected over the busy periods)

Pay rate is competitive and will be discussed based on applicants experience
