Job Summary:

Conduct delivery and pick-up of goods as planned and by consciously representing the company to maintain a high level of customer focus.

Duties

Adhere to delivery run schedule as provided by the Production Office and Shift Supervisor – Despatch.
Load the truck according to the sequence in which the deliveries are to be made.
Responsible for looking after the cleanliness of the truck(s).
Liaising with the Shift Supervisor – Despatch in ensuring that the packing of finished goods to be delivered to the customers are adequately packed and safe for transportation.
All orders scheduled for delivery are to be marked off in PIP and print off Delivery Docket to be signed off by the customer/recipient. Ensure that load and Delivery Dockets match.
Assist with completion of packing when required
Conduct pick-ups where required. Ensure all pick-ups include paperwork either from the Customer or recorded in PPC Delivery Book.
Unloading of truck on completion of a pick-up.
Register all required details of pick-up and deliveries made in the Delivery Run Sheet and ensure that the Delivery Run sheet is signed off at receipt by the person receiving the job(s).
Hand in the Delivery Run Sheets to the Receptionist at the end of each day.
Adhere to all Company Policies including Workplace Health and Safety, Quality Procedures and Compulsory Uniform Policy.
Maintain punctuality and flexibility.

Salary Details: $25-30/Hour(Casual Rate)
