Have had my own business for over 20 years on Gold Coast, have done FIFO work out west and also worked in Nauru for a year and a half. I was the Lead Operator for the construction of spigot lines on lease pads in the Roma section of the project and part of my daily duties included mentoring and training other operators on installation and completion

Worked As Leading Hand at GEORGIOU GROUP from April 2018 to August 2018
I worked within the Georgiou Group as the Leading Hand on a Brisbane City Council Road upgrade.
My duties on a daily basis consist of corresponding with multiple subcontractors and overseeing a vast variety of site works such as:
• Installation of both Stormwater drainage pipes, gully pits and sediment basins
• Gravity Sewer Lines and a new Rising Sewer Main
• Ductile Iron Water Main and Tapping bands
• New Telstra, Communications and Electrical Conduit alignments
• TGS and Truck movements
• General Earthworks, Pavement Levels and Subsoils
• Environmental Controls and Fauna Fencing
• Potholing with Vacuum Trucks for existing Queensland Urban Utilities Assets
• Installation of Concrete Culverts with a 200-ton Crane

Worked As Leading Hand/Operator at PJ Civil & Engineering from December 2017 to April 2018
My position as a Leading Hand/Operator with PJ Civil consisted of the installation of a Rising Sewer Main, Pump Station and a Gravity Fed Main for the Gold Coast City Council. Duties also included road pavements, asphalting and drainage.

Worked As Machine Operator at Complete Civil & Construction Group from October 2016 to November 2017
Upgrade to Olsen Avenue and Southport – Nerang Road with Georgiou Group
As a Machine Operator I was contracted to carry out works with TMR (Main Roads) consisting of:
• Drainage and Pipe Laying
• Road gully pits and manholes
• Preparation for road subgrades and asphalt
• Drive-ways and cross-overs
• Subsoils and curb prepping
• General earth works

Worked As Driver Operator at PJ Civil & Engineering from November 2015 to October 2016
FIFO Operator to Nauru in the South Pacific Islands, working on the redevelopment for the Detention centres provided for the refugees. My duties consist of:
• Bulk Earthworks and detailed excavations
• Driving an assortment of machinery such as telehandlers, water trucks, articulated moxy dumpers, body truck tippers, loaders, dozers (D6 & D10), excavators (Siv buckets, Rock breakers), bobcats, posi tracks and rollers.
• Liaison officer with local land owners and community representatives.
• Training local Islanders on machinery and civil works.

Worked As Labourer/Operator at Murphy Pipe & Civil from October 2012 to November 2015
My job descriptions with Murphy Pipe & Civil within the Surat Basin region on the Gas & Water
pipe line are as follows:
• Installation of lease legs for wells
• Stringing of production pipe, both water & gas
• Bell holes and tie-in points (T-Junction’s, saddles, reduces and end caps)

• Installation of HPV’s & LPD’s
• Qualified level one Operator for excavations around live gas and water assets

Worked As Owner Operator at ProBuild Civil Construction from August 2011 to July 2012
my duties ranged from sediment basins and gabion rock baskets, prep for footings and concrete works, locating under-ground road
services such as gas, optic fibre and electrical, civil drainage works, erecting rock walls and general land-scaping, trimming and top soiling batters and benches, and other general civil
duties. Conducted regular machinery pre inspections and operator competence
evaluations.
• Dohles-Rocks Road Interchange. As an Owner Operator my duties ranged from road
prepping, drive-ways and footpaths, drainage both sewer and storm water, laying conduits and pits for electrical and optic fibre along with other civil site duties.

Worked As water culverts and head walls, prepping batters and benches at golding contractors from January 2007 to August 2011
Beenleigh Stabling Yard. Duties included auguring holes for posts and instillation of panels,
operating with height restrictors under train lines for track upgrade, construction for storm
water culverts and head walls, prepping batters and benches for landscaping.
• Park Ridge – Bus Interchange. All aspects of Civil Construction.
• Bremer Ipswich – Rail Bridge and Industrial Park. Duties included prepping for pilot
platforms, excavations for pillions and bridge abutments, loading of dump trucks and body
trucks and the auguring of holes for QLD railway fencing.
• Yeerongpilly Railway Furbishing Yard. Duties included excavations for detailed footings and concrete works, loading of trucks with materials and transportation of scrap steel,
construction of holding dam for water truck refill.
• Sunstate Cement – Port of Brisbane. 2 Year Contract constructing the Underground
Conveyor Tunnel. My duties included all excavations for drainage and electrical, the instillation of underground sheet piling, final trim and prep work for concrete, construction for haul road, erection of bund walls, batters and benches, excavations for underground
shoring and the dewatering systems.
• Sunnybank Bridge – Rail Cross Over & Line Upgrade. As an Owner Operator my duties
entailed ground prepping for new rail lines, all excavations for concrete and steel works,
earthworks for bridge abutments and general hire duties.
