I am seeking employment doing Kempsey/Clybucca change overs as well as Toowoomba/Gatton dog trailer runs or Mackay runs on Friday and Saturday nights. I have extensive experience in both semis as well as B doubles with Roadranger and syncro gearboxes.

Experience :
Worked As MC Truck Driver at Logical Staffing from November 2018 to till now
Due to having custody of my children every second week, I had to give up full time work and have been working for Logical Staffing on a casual basis, both locally as well as carrying out Clybucca and Kempsey change overs and Toowoomba dog trailer runs. I have also been working for a number of container companies at the Port of Brisbane, including Gossows Transport operating both side loaders and B doubles.

This job involved local deliveries and pickups in their Semi-trailers and B Doubles as well as securing and tarping loads. (25/10/2005 to 16/2/2006).

When Team invited me to go back working for them, and due to their closer proximity to home, I returned to working for them. This involved working in their General and Container Fleets. (27/2/2006 to 21/12/2009).

Worked As TRUCK OPERATOR/MECHANIC at ROAD TRAIN/WINCH
In order to gain experience in other areas of truck driving, I took the opportunity to work for Neil Mansell Transport as a winch truck operator. This entailed all aspects of assembly, disassembly, loading and transport of oil and gas drill rigs in the Cooper and Eromanga basins in south west Queensland and north east South Australia. The driving also involved the cartage of water, chemicals, bore casing and anything else associated with drill rigs on everything from bed trucks to triple-road-trains. The majority of the loading and unloading was done using the 50 tonne winches built onto the trucks. (5/5/1997 to 18/8/1998).

Gulf then transferred me to their Halls Creek change-over station. This position involved driving 2 triple-road-trains each day from Halls Creek to Cadjebut Mine and back, loading zinc or lead concentrate. (18/9/1993 to 1/2/1994).
When Gulf shut down the shuttle they then transferred me to their Granites Gold Mine Operation (N.T.). This job involved loading and carting gold ore in a triple-road-train on a 40km lead. This was a
2 weeks day shift/2 weeks night shift and 2 weeks off job (11/2/1994 to 21/11/1994)

I worked for Team Taxi Trucks and Couriers on their Brisbane to Rockhampton run as well as the halfway change overs , until the closure of the Rockhampton depot. I was then transferred to their General Freight and Container Fleet, operating semis, Bdoubles and side loaders.

Worked As DIESEL TRUCK MECHANIC at Denmac Trucks from January 1995 to April 1997
When I cam back to Brisbane I worked for Denmac Trucks as a Truck mechanic servicing and repairing Ford, Western Star, DAF and Nissan UD Trucks.

Worked As ROAD TRAIN DRIVER/SERVICEMAN at Gulf transport from March 1993 to November 1994
I started off at Gulf carrying out servicing and maintenance of their 8 or 9 triple side-tipper road-trains as well as refuelling and unloading 4 or 5 road-trains each day. The job also involved the daily servicing of the loaders used in Gulf’s storage shed. Gulf then transferred me to their Halls Creek change-over station.
