Experience :
Worked As Jackeroo /Station hand at Autumnvale Pastoral Co from August 2019 to January 2020
In order to gain my second year visa I undertook regional work in far southwest QLD as a Jackaroo on an sheep and cattle station. During my time on Autumnvale I gained a number of new skills, predominantly in fencing and laying pipelines but also in mechanics, servicing of machinery and mustering of stock. This experience gave me a great insight into rural Australia while also helping improve my work ethic as life on such a big station involves long hours and 7 day weeks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Worked As Bricklaying Labourer at Demolition from February 2019 to July 2019
CSKA Construction.
My time at CSKA construction mostly consisted of general labouring for a bricklayer. My main duties ranged from setting up all equipment needed for the specific day, mixing cement and building/dismantling scaffold. I always adhered to the health and safety guidelines at work and am fully aware of what these are. For the demolition side of the work I was mostly tasked with demolishing old walls in a safe manner, whether this involved using a demolition saw or simply removing the bricks one by one. Most of the work I completed was on specifically upmarket properties, which required the quality of work to be at a very high standard at all times.
Worked As Builder’s Labourer at Property Renovation from January 2017 to January 2019
Most of my time here was spent at a single property that was/is undergoing a major renovation, although I did also travel to different smaller jobs which involved tasks such as removing and new kitchens. In this time, I became familiar with a variety of tools and methods to trades such as roofing, tiling, landscaping, plumbing, bricklaying and demolition. Although most of the time I was working under supervision, there were numerous occasions where I had to work independently, and I always completed the job to a high standard as expected from my employer.
Worked As Multi Drop Delivery Driver/ Picker at Amazon from April 2018 to October 2018
My role at amazon included arriving at the warehouse on time, picking and packing parcels in order in my vehicle and undertaking around 70 drops a day on average.
