HOME RENOVATION AND LANDSCAPING SKILL SET

I have done extensive work on my home and garden, which have provided me with extra skills worth noting. My referee Silvija Baalcke (owner Hire a Hubby Franchise)
can verify the improvements I have made. I am happy to provide photos of my work if
requested. Some of the skills/jobs are as follows:
• Basic electrical work such as replaced ceiling fans with regular globe light
fixtures and replacing light switches.
• Built house extension including wood frame, external and internal walls,
insulation, flooring and paint render finish. I’m comfortable using all kinds of drills, angle grinders, saws and many other tools.
• Replaced brick arched window with new front door including concrete porch.
I’m confident cutting concrete, brick, wood and metal.
• Built steel carport, veranda and garden sheds.
• Unblocked and replaced above and belowground rain water pipes utilising
high-pressure water.
• Extensive landscaping including building retaining walls, tree pruning and removal and earth moving. I utilised a petrol auger, cement mixer, mini
loader, chainsaw and various other garden tools.
• Basic plumbing such as replace bathroom taps and install under sink filter.
• Paving and installing external stairs.
• Installed new pool fence utilising welder (new skill so needs refining).
