The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers to join our Logistics team based out of our depot in Mount Gambier. The positions involve driving truck & Trailer combinations in the delivery and unloading of materials. You will need to demonstrate experience in driving operations including the performance of minor maintenance and truck pre-start checks.
Role Responsibilities
The role responsibilities include:
• Drive and operate designated trucks in the delivery of construction materials
• Maintain regulatory logbooks and complete company timesheets and dockets on a daily basis
• Perform daily pre-start safety and maintenance checks
• Ability to work overtime as required
• To operate as an effective member of the Gambier Earth Movers Pty Ltd workforce delivering outcomes in a safe and efficient manner
Skills and Qualifications
• Current ‘HC’ class motor vehicle licence
• Experience in operating truck & trailer combinations an advantage but not essential
• Able to work both in a team environment and independently without supervision
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe, clean and compliant work environment
• Ability to communicate with management and other team members
