Southern Disposal Services are looking to hire HR/HC Drivers / Labourers for our growing company to assist in servicing our large client base across the Monaro and beyond
Daily Duties include.
• Delivering equipment to site
• Hydrovac and other Vacuum Truck Operations
• Septic Tank pump outs
• Grease Trap pump outs
• Delivering septic waste to disposal points
• Various tasks within the Snowy 2.0 contract ie. Drill support – removing drill muds, core samples etc, delivering goods, servicing port a loos.
Successful applicants will:
• Hold current HR or HC Licence (This is non-negotiable. If you don’t currently have either of these licences, please do not apply.)
• Current NSW Construction Induction/White Card
• Always maintain a professional company image.
• Comply with all relevant company/client policies and procedures.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all vehicles, inside and out as directed.
• Complete all records and paperwork accurately as directed and required.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation of the vehicles inside and out.
The ideal candidate will have:
• HR or HC licence or higher
• Previous HR/HC truck driving experience
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
• A strong commitment to safety
• A strong work ethic and flexible approach to hours and the ability to work a changing roster.
• Ability to provide a driving history check prior to commencement.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
We are offering:
• A casual position working full time hours with the opportunity to work overtime and weekend work (when available) with a view to a permanent position.
