Step into a permanent full-time role within our newly established Mobile Storage Division.
We are searching for a Mobile Storage Removalist Driver who can elevate our team with their strong customer service orientation and removals experience.
Responsibilities
- Removalist duties such as driving a truck to client’s sites to unload and load Mobile storage unit.
- Lifting objects of variable weight between floor and overhead height including heavy objects > 25kg. Lifting tools and aides are utilised to make the task easier and reduce risk of injury.
- The goods to be moved are manually lifted, manoeuvred and carried from the location and loaded into the container or module on the rear of the vehicle. Typical objects handled include household goods and furniture.
- Assisting other Team members and/or contractors.
- Prolonged work hours or overtime may be required.
- Handle and manoeuver equipment and vehicles with an unwavering commitment to personal safety.
- Conduct basic safety analysis and maintain service requirements for the company vehicle.
- Play a pivotal role in facilitating the removal and delivery processes, understanding the impact of exceptional customer service.
- Maintain real-time communication with Team Leader to keep key staff informed of job statuses.
- Preserve the condition of the assigned vehicle, equipment, and associated tools.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Forklift and Car Licence essential
- Possess physical fitness and successfully pass a basic fitness test.
- Removals experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely and confidently operate a vehicle, towing a maximum of 3-ton trailer.
- Skillfully manoeuver vehicles and large trailers in tight situations. Small Trailers
- Exhibit unwavering integrity and maintain a naturally positive attitude.
- Showcase exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Embrace a robust safety focus with a proactive approach to enhancing safety and compliance.
- Forklift Licence would be an advantage.
