Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
You’ll be
- Working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, shift time 10:00PM to 5:51AM
- Cleaning vehicle, washing windscreen and side windows
- Fuelling vehicle (diesel and AdBlue)
- Checking fluid levels
- Unbuckling trailer set
- Placing on docks and opening trailers for forklift operators to offload
- Upon completion closing trailer set and parking up in designated holding bays
- Collecting empty trailer set and placing on docks for forklift operators to load
- Upon completion closing trailers and ensuring vehicle and trailer set are parked up in designated holding bay for rostered driver to perform interstate trip
- Performing trailer movements on and off holding areas or docks with yard Tug
- Earning up to $41 per hour, inclusive of shift penalty and tonnage allowance
About you

You’ll also need to
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a relevant Multi-Combination vehicle license. Forklift license advantageous
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less
- Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
