RO'S HORSE TRANSPORT IS LOOKING FOR A NEW DRIVER!! This is an opportunity to join an amazing team.
MANDATORY SKILLS
• A valid license to operate a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle is essential
• Experience driving livestock trucks
• Exceptional horse handling skills
• Ability to manage time and provide good customer service.
• Ability to use a smart phone and associated software
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Loading and unloading horses confidently and safely
• Transporting horses to a variety of destinations both local and interstate
• Safely operating the vehicle and complying with all traffic rules and regulations
• Monitoring horse welfare during travel and when overnighting as required
• Managing communication with customers and coordinating drop off/pick up arrangements
• Managing waybills and payment records (including cash handling)
• General checking and cleaning of the vehicle
ABOUT THE JOB
• This is a four day week leaving our depot at Mt Tyson Qld every Monday, travelling through NSW and returning Thursday evening.
• You will be away for three nights staying in motel accommodation with all meals provided
• Above award wages
• Additional days may be available by negotiation
Also short term accommodation/ plus horse agistment .
