Heavy Vehicle Driver ( Barnes Auto Co )

Job Summary:

Barnes Auto Co are looking for a versatile heavy vehicle driver to join our team in 2024!

We specialise in heavy towing and recovery services and are the largest and oldest dedicated heavy vehicle towing and salvage business in Australia.

The position available is primarily working in a heavy tow truck also as required in other towing vehicles.

Applicants must live on the Gold Coast and legally able to park a truck at home (or live within 15 minutes of Molendinar if you are unable to park at home).

Key responsibilities:

• Driving and operation of a Heavy Tow Truck.
• Loading and unloading casualty vehicles.
• Changing tyres & Jumpstarts where required.
• Maintain records such as logbooks, pre starts etc.
• Attending accidents where a heavy vehicle is involved
• Working independently and without supervision
• Must be able to obtain a QLD Tow Truck Driver Certificate

Must have a minimum of a HC licence. Mechanical background preferred but not essential.

Previous towing experience is not required, training will be provided.
