Hi,
My name is Tomas, I began full time work at the age of 18 working in a mattress production factory. I now drive a truck and dog tautliner for Direct Freight Express. I am currently looking for weekend work. I am happy to do overtime. I am prefer to work locally. I have my HC license and Forklift license.

Experience :
Worked As MC A Double Driver at Linfox South32 Contract from November 2022 to till now
Carting coal down mount Ousley to port Kembla in the steel works.
Total weight normally averaged at 94 tonne.
Driving 13 axle Tri Drive A Doubles.

Worked As MC b double driver at Jim Pearson Transport from June 2021 to November 2022
Transporting freight to all major DC in Sydney Metro area. Including Woolworths, Coles and Aldi. I also did pickups of freight that would be sent to Brisbane.
During this time I learnt to reverse a 36m double into a finger dock without a problem.

Worked As Hc driver at Direct Freight Express I from June 2019 to June 2021
During my time at Direct Freight Express I have been able to gain an in-depth understanding and respect for the transport
and general freight business. I have been lucky enough to begin my Heavy Combination driving career through Direct.
After I was given the opportunity I have been able to display
my ability to operate a HC vehicle in a timely and safe manner.

Worked As Local driver MR at MTS Transport from April 2018 to June 2019
is a small to medium transport company who
are responsible for delivering mattresses to Fantastic
Furniture stores across Sydney and parts of Queensland and Victoria. Working for MTS, I have gained knowledge of both the Sydney metropolitan and regional towns of New South
Wales. Mainly delivering to local Sydney stores i have also
delivered to regional NSW. Towns such as Armidale
Tamworth Taree and Port Macquarie.
This job opportunity has given me experience to later obtain
more work in the transport workforce.

Worked As Supervisor at Royal Comfort Bedding / Afternoon Shift from September 2017 to April 2018
Wetherill Park
In late September 2017, I was asked to organise and supervise the afternoon shift at RCB. Royal Comfort Bedding
is an Australian based production company of mattresses
who supply to the major furniture company Fantastic
Furniture. In this role, I was required to organise each shift
working with management to work to achieve targets that
were scheduled. Shift organising also required the use of a
forklift to gather the supplies to make the mattresses and put away finished goods.
