Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in driving various types of vehicles, including buses, heavy rigid trucks, long haul vehicles, and interstate freight trucks. My roles have required me to meet tight schedules, ensure safety compliance, and maintain exceptional customer relations, all of which align closely with the responsibilities outlined in your job description.
I possess a current MC Licence, effective communication skills, and a proven track record of reliability .

Experience :
Worked at Greymore Couriers
Mainly change over work, singles only, trucks used were western stars 18 speed road rangers, travelled
to various places north, many trailer swaps happened at Traveston, other loads would take me to Bundaberg and Gladstone delivering loads to Woolworth’s, duties also required strapping and rolling
up of straps when not needed.

Refuelling, correct logbook entries also had to always do pre checks on the Prime and trailer hub km’s.

Worked at Craig
I was employed by a sub-contractor for Scott’s, duties required me to revers onto docks sometimes
finger docks

Unloading, all refrigerated loads, only singles, connecting and disconnecting trailers, unloading with an
electric pallet jack, setting the temperature on the trailer as directed by the paperwork, always safe and prompt driving manner.

(QCFM)

Duties included loading of fresh poultry and delivering to Newcastle and various Sydney depots.

Some unloading on my part but always with an electric pallet jack (I’m not strong enough for a manual)

Reloading next day and returning to Brisbane.

Some trips to Melbourne then back to Brisbane.

Time schedules were kept as close as possible but, in this industry, quite hard to keep at times.

Duties required me to couple and uncouple trailers, some trips all I had on was a single trailer other
trips B Doubles.
