Key Responsibilities
? Overseeing the day to day operations, finance and management of a busy plant hire company based at Capalaba for major civil works, bulk excavations and demolitions
? Responsible for the marketing and sourcing of new business in the Greater Brisbane Area
? The provision of quotations and the booking of jobs
? Ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with work programs, contractual arrangements and agreements
? Training and assessing of staff and updating of staff records
? On a daily basis converse with staff, contractors and other authorities
? Prompt attention to all emails, faxes and other forms of request
? Completion of all associated paperwork including weekly and monthly reports and forward to Head Office
? The general answering of phones and booking of appointments
? Debt collection
? Solving customer complaints
? Responsible for the monitoring of cash flows and budgets
? Preparation of profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow projections
? Ensure all work is completed within limited timeframes and budget restraints
? Ensure full compliance by all staff and contractors of occupational health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times whilst on site and take appropriate remedial action when they are not being complied with
