Work Performed – Allocations Manager- I was the AM allocator for roughly 6 months, whilst I was in this position I was
organizing all Local deliveries( freight coming in from country and interstate ) and pickups. Roughly 15-18 rigids and around 10 semi-trailers and 1 b-double. Organizing the linehaul trucks to travel overnight. Organizing
subcontractors if needed and arranging what they would be paid. Checking incoming manifests to check how
many trucks we needed each day. Talking with bosses from other companies to try make things run smoother and sorting out any problems

Mechanic- I looked after all Sydney based trucks and repairing minor problems. Organizing maintance
schedules. Getting trucks in on time to the mechanic for major work, organizing breakdowns and if needed
tow trucks and taking trucks out to the ones that had broken down.

Leading Forklift Driver- I was the main loader for the trucks with large volumes. Organzizing what trucks would
be allocated with Dangerous Goods and making sure all freight travelled at night, keeping all freight in correct
areas so no freight was mixed up. I was 1 of 2 people that operated the 16T forklift.

Truck Driver- I started off in a Volvo FM340 rigid doing local deliveries / pickups and taking the overflow of what
freight did not travel at night. I then upgraded my license and started towing a bogie pig trailer and eventually
a dog trailer. I moved into driving semi-trailers and started carting the dump truck tyres and oversize cable
drums. I can use dogs and chains very well. Towards the end of my time a DXT I started doing overnight
express to Wagga, Orange, Dubbo, Mudgee and north coast.
