Started work in a factory in New Zealand as a printers assistant. Then started driving as a courier driver. I have worked as a driver and coordinator / dispatcher. I have driven and dispatched in a range of different industries within transport. I have spent most of my working life in Australia in the transport industry. I have lived In Perth and Brisbane Gold coast areas. I have a good knowledge of Australia as well.
I am looking for a driving job but am open to other options that fit or add to my skill set. I am very capable of working by my self or part as a team it really doesn’t make a lot of difference. I would prefer long distance driving but am also able to around town work as well.
I like early starts if possible but don’t mind either way, Am open to overtime. Don’t want to work weekends though am keen to do the hours during the week. looking for full time casual to permanent work and one offs are fine. I am Living on the Gold Coast at the moment and will travel to Brisban

dispatcher. I dispatch any where upto 15 trucks per day with a turnover of up to 200+ containers a day.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatching 15 trucks per 12 hour shift.
Making sure that containers are delivered by the required
time. Assisting the operations team.
Coordination of the 3 wharfs in Auckland as well as our hub and inland metroport
Facility. Making sure all exports meet required cutoffs.
Monitoring drivers hours and making sure they have their required breaks.
A small exposure to tankers as Tappers have 2 tankers that do work for timber mills.

Being the Second largest vehicle logistics company in Australia and one of the largest
logistics companies worldwide. Working within this role I was mainly responsible for the day to day delivery and pickup of all motor vehicles within the Perth Metro area up to 200
vehicles a day. Also the lockup of the depot at the close of business and supervising of staff when required which included most afternoons.
Assisting the operations manager and acting as a stand in operations manager when required. By helping with the bulk fleet and line haul.
Making phone calls to drivers/customers and doing admin.
Keeping good Kpi’s by keeping good delivery times within the Perth metro area. (Example) my
Lexus account for Perth went from 47% to 97% in the first month of me being in the role. Driver
Fatigue, making sure the drivers keep to their legal driving hours and that the correct paperwork was filled out.
Managing the fleet maintenance which was generally the role of the operations manager but
I was fully conversed to organize some repairs and checks also making sure the fleet
were doing their daily checks. I also had to learn a whole new in house computer system
which Ceva Logistics use worldwide called Facts.

wide knowledge of W estern Australia.

would lock up and open when required. W ithin this role for a time I used to have the afterhours phone which would entitle me to book jobs after hours and take and solve
any other queries that there might be. I also used to run the Saturday dispatch by myself here.

This was an entry level role starting here as a driver I quickly progress to being one of the top
earners for this at the time being Auckland’s largest express courier company. I was the offered a position as a dispatcher in the office one of 5 at the time dispatching to anywhere up to 200 vehicles per day. This was a very ‘hands on’ role which was challenging and busy
most of the time. Due to this role it gave me a very extensive knowledge of Auckland and the greater surrounding regions. Also learning t he in house computer system.
