Candidate Info :
Preferred work at this stage is 2 to 3 days/nights per week with a view to transition to full time over the next 6 to 8 months.

Worked As Self-employed at Craig Johnston Performance Automotive from October 2004 to till now
Duties:
Mehanical repairs & General sub contract driving.
Scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, engine & gearbox rebuilding. General service and light repairs to truck & semi trailers.
Contract work involving sole driving of a heavy rigid truck carrying a trenching machine throughout central Western Australia, meeting with management on job/mine sites, organizing work time frames, completing the job and repairing the machine and truck in an outback environment as required.
Sub contract & holiday/sickness fill in Driving/Bread delivery for Lemmey Logistics (now closed), that contracted to Tip Top Bakeries. This involved local deliveries as well as delivery to rural small and bulk drop delivery driving MR, HR and HC. Driving vehicles ranging from Synchro manual, Iveco Automatic and Eaton/Roadranger non synchro transmissions.
LPG and general repairs to all makes and models of passenger cars, 4WD & light commercial vehicles, specialising in early Ford and American cars.
Air, electrical & hydraulic system repairs, Commonly on IVECO, Sterling, International & ISUZU Prime movers.
MIG, TIG, OXY & ARC welding, general metal fabrication, lathe and mill (vertical & horizontal) operation.
Office duties:
Customer service, quotation’s, accounts, stock control, ordering, goods inward & outward, cash & EFTPOS transactions & safety control.

New vehicle rectification, Safety & improvement suggestion scheme, quality control, training, LPG vehicle development, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) design, Housekeeping organisation.

Worked As Motor mechanic at RP Motors from July 1986 to September 1996
All vehicle, engine, transmission & differential repairs. Welding & fabrication. Training of apprentice and all office duties.
