Hi my name is Jarred i am looking for a career change but also wanting to stay in the waste industry as i have been interested in the industry since i was a kid. I can work good as a team but i’m also just as great working on my own, I am not too fussed about overtime, if i get overtime that’s great but i don’t oh well i’m flexible. I am happy to work any day of the week and including weekends, i would prefer a full time job but can start as a casual. At present i don’t have any physical or medical conditions i am in good shape. My interests have always been about reusing and recycling whatever i can to reduce waste but i also spent a lot of my time working on my house projects i.e renovating, painting and general maintenance. I currently hold a Queensland HR drivers license and forklift license. My greatest achievement is to be a hard working bloke and work to receive employee of the month certificates as i have a few in the past from great work.

Experience :
Worked As Currently a casual HR Truck driver at Endeavour Foundation at Acacia Ridge from October 2018 to till now
I currently work for Endeavour Foundation at Acacia Ridge that collect donated goods. Endeavour Foundation also runs the recycle section at Brisbane City Council Resource Recovery centres which I also work down there on occasion which includes serving customers to the appropriate recycling areas and collecting donated goods. I also respect the company vehicle by doing the necessary pre start checks and driving a truck safely throughout the entire Brisbane area.

Worked As Yardhand/Forklift Operator at Reuse and Recycle Centre Nikenbah from September 2014 to September 2018
Tasks include- sorting loads of rubbish of all kinds entering the Nikenbah Transfer Station and sorting into correct recycling areas or bins, but also stripping down recyclable items down for scrap i.e. motors, stainless, copper pipe, electrical cable, aluminium and steel.

With that experience the Nikenbah Site also runs a Reuse Market Centre that sells recycled goods collected by the staff and sold to the general public, mainly bric a brac and building materials off all kind.
Other duties also include tidying and maintaining the Market Centre with managers and assisting with the customer service that they require with the opening and closing of the Market.
