GRAIN TRUCK DRIVER ( AusAG Rural )
Based in Narrabri, NSW
A Grain Truck Driving position is available with a family owned and operated dryland farming company located in northwest New South Wales located between the rural communities of Walgett and Narrabri. The trucks – 2 x Kenworth 909 models + 2 x 604 models are owned by the farming company and utilised for private grain transportation. The successful candidate within this position will hold an unrestricted multi combination (MC) licence, demonstrate an excellent driving history and ideally have previous experience carting specifically grain.
Key Responsibilities:
• To transport grain from the farm near Walgett to storage facilities in Narrabri.
• To carry out basic mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• To be versatile and willing to operate other farming equipment when not driving trucks.
• To be capable of working 12-hour shifts during peak farming production periods.
• Assisting with general workshop duties and basic property maintenance tasks as required.
