Ongoing Role - Monday to Friday - Immediate Start - $38.40p/h plus Overtime
As a MC Local Truck Driver, you will be working in an inclusive work culture that is built on; Safety, Passion, Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork.
Your new role will include:
Shuttle in yard moving containers from the pad . Some strapping, occasional moving of B-doubles. Monday start, 7.00am – 3.00pm depending on work, Mon – Frid Trailer movements within the yard.
Reversing on/off docks, sheds, rail yards and confined spaces.
Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and tidy conditions.
About you
Must have a current MC licence
Excellent reversing skills and ability to operate in confined yard
Safety focused individual.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to deadlines.
Ability to think on feet and provide solutions.
Customer service focused attitude.
Reliable and punctual.
Be adaptable to fast paced working environment
Physically fit and professionally presented with the ability to pass a Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug and Alcohol Screening.
You will be required to possess the following skills and experience:
Current MC Driver’s license
Operation of Prime Mover and B-Double driving experience
Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
Excellent Customer Service
Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
Knowledge & experience with load restraint procedures
