Reliable MR Truck Driver/Asphalt Labourer needed for 3-month Ipswich road infrastructure project with $43.08/hour casual rate & superannuation.
We are urgently seeking a reliable and safety conscious MR Truck Driver / Asphalt Labourer to join our temporary civil works crew working on local road infrastructure projects in the Ipswich area (approx 3 months, may extend). This is a great opportunity to work with a well-regarded and experienced team.
About the Role:
- Safely operate Medium Rigid (MR) crew truck
- Undertake general roads and drainage labouring duties including site prep, asphalt laying, raking, and site clean-up
- Monday to Friday roster with early starts and an RDO every fortnight
What We’re Looking For:
- MR Truck Licence (essential) with driving experience
- Previous experience in asphalt or civil labouring (including working in proximity to traffic)
- An appropriate level of physical fitness for the work being performed
- Construction Industry White Card
- Strong reliability, work ethic and commitment to safety, with proven ability to follow directions and work as part of a team (supported by references)
Please note that any offer of employment will be subject to a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) and due to nature of the work and mandatory PPE requirements, you must be willing to participate in face-fit testing of P2 respirator prior to commencement.
