Boss Global Logistics Pty Ltd has an opportunity for two HR Truck Drivers in Brisbane – Southside.
Should you be successful, there is opportunity for an immediate start.
We're looking for two reliable and skilled HR Truck Drivers to transport freight safely and efficiently between our depot and customer locations.
If you have a strong commitment to safely. excellent driving skills and great customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include:
Safely operate an HR truck,
Load and unload freight, ensuring accurate and secure cargo handling,
Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness,
Comply with company policies, procedures and safety standards,
Meet delivery deadlines and manage route efficiency.
ROLE 1: Yatala
In this role, you will be driving an 8 tonne, 14 pallet tautliner with tail-lift delivering carpet and general freight to businesses throughout the region. Most work is forklift on / off with minimal hand load / unload. You will need to be comfortable with operation of tautliner curtains. This role attracts good hours. Approximately starting at 7am each weekday. The role is located at our customers’ site in Yatala.
ROLE 2: Berrinba
In this role, you will be driving an 8 tonne, 14 pallet tautliner with tail-lift delivering general freight and appliances. The work is 60% Forklift on/off and 40% handload/unload. You will start your day at the customers depot between 4:30 am – 8 am, generally working 8 – 9 hrs per a day. This role attracts good hours and is a Monday to Friday role.
Requirements include:
Minimum of 2 years open HR Class license or above
Great Knowledge of the Brisbane Southside area and surrounds
Familiarity with freight handling procedures
Fork Lift license (Desirable)
Physically fit and strong
A ‘can do’ attitude
Australian Citizen/Resident or have Full Work Rights
Steel Capped Boots / shoes
High Visibility Vest
Strong customer service focus
Clear Criminal history
References required
