Currently working as a water Quality Scientist for Sydney water.
I have extensive MR driving experience from my time working as a labourer/driver whilst studying in University.
I am looking for extra weekend work or weekday night work. I am rather flexible and available for work outside of regular work week hours.
I have no working or travel limitations. I believe I am a reliable working who has effective communication skills and values hard work.
I have my first aid certificate, white card, IMP traffic card and MR drivers licence.

About Sydney Water
Sydney water is Australia’s largest water utility, providing Water, Wastewater and recycled water services to greater Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:

* Authorise data submitted to regulatory bodies such as EPA and local councils in relation to licence testing requirements and process monitoring of wastewater treatments and routine environmental testing.
* Liaise with Laboratory team and Field testing team for matters regarding environmental and wastewater monitoring projects during project leading secondment
* Routine Sampling and Testing of water quality parameters in Various environmental settings such as Lakes, Catchments, Beaches, and Rivers located within greater Sydney.
* Operate company vessels on Waterways within Sydney to complete water quality routines, Sediment collection jobs and Pollution plank deployment/retrieval.
* Water quality testing to detect and report the extent of environmental contaminations from sewage and clean water breaks in supply systems, Impacting waterways. Using key onsite tests such as Ammonia, Fluoride and Chlorine as contamination indicators.
* Conduct calibration checks on field instruments and complete traceability records for accreditation requirements.
* Use water quality parameters such as DO, PH, conductivity, turbidity, salinity, ORP and field observations for initial reports on water quality investigations.
* Undertake drinking water sampling with routine chlorine titrations.
* Conduct process monitoring tests of treatment processes within wastewater treatment plants to ensure EPA license compliance of recycled effluent discharging into the environment.
* Attend call outs for afterhours sampling and testing required for environmental incidents and non compliance discharge events.
* Conduct Maintenance, and safety inspections on Sydney water vehicles and vessels.
