Truck Driver (HR, HC or MC)
Kogan People Solutions is partnering with a successful and growing logistics provider with operations across WA to recruit professional drivers. The firm is well equipped with a modern fleet consisting of rigids, vans and semis.
As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking experienced truck drivers who can deliver outstanding and reliable service.
Role
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation
Tenure: Full-time and ongoing
Location: Depot based in Queens Park. Work commitments involve driving and deliveries across the state, including Geraldton, Welshpool, Bibra Lake and outback regional areas.
Roster: Overnight stays will be required for regional runs.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading: securing loads to prevent damage or spoilage and strictly adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
Vehicle maintenance: regularly inspecting the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness (checking tires brakes lights and fluid levels).
Route planning: following the most efficient routes to save time and fuel.
Compliance: keeping accurate records of deliveries (logbooks), maintenance checks and incidents.
Communication: coordinating with dispatchers warehouse staff and clients to ensure smooth operations.
To be considered for this role you must have:
License: a current HR HC or MC license (mandatory).
Experience: at least 1 to 3 years of relevant driving experience.
Regional readiness: demonstrated experience or a keen interest in regional intrastate driving.
Qualifications: suitable work experience is essential; a relevant Certificate II or III is highly regarded.
Skills: strong written documentation skills and accuracy in record keeping.
Reliability: proven adherence to schedules and a solid work ethic.
Checks: willingness to provide a driving history report and undertake pre-employment health and drug screening.
You must have unrestricted full-time Australian working rights to be considered.
