Job Summary:
This role involves the timely and careful delivery of fresh cakes, pastries, and breads to our retail store, along with a variety of support duties in and around the kitchen and loading dock. You’ll be a key part of ensuring our products reach customers fresh and on time, while maintaining cleanliness and organisation in delivery and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently deliver palettes of fresh bakery goods to our store, starting from 5:30 AM.
– Unload and deliver stock into the store, ensuring items are handled with care.
– Assist in the packing and rotation of stock within the bakery kitchen.
– Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van, both interior and exterior, to a high standard.
– Help keep the loading dock area clean, tidy, and organised.
– Carry out general housekeeping duties as required to maintain a hygienic work environment.
– Work collaboratively with kitchen and store teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
– Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Requirements:
– A full NSW driving licence
– Previous experience in delivery driving or bakery/food handling is an advantage.
– Good time management and reliability – must be punctual and dependable.
– Physically fit and capable of manual handling (lifting palettes, crates, etc.).
– Comfortable with early starts and variable finishing times.
– A positive attitude and willingness to help out in different areas of the operation.
– Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
