MC Truck Driver
Martinella Contracting is based in Paskeville SA and is seeking a reliable MC truck driver to join the team. The majority of this work is bulk haulage in tippers, with some flat top/drop deck work. All machinery is well maintained.
The successful candidate will be required to be available for both local and interstate hauls nationwide. This position will require nights away from home and some weekend work. The majority of this work is ex-Adelaide, so would be suited to applicants based on the Yorke Peninsula or in Adelaide. This role is remunerated above award wages, with an overnight allowance applicable for every night away from home.
Expectations of the successful candidate are
– Ensure logbook is correctly completed
– Maintain a clean and tidy truck
– Be self-motivated
– Ability to plan routes
– Be responsible for pre-start checks and informing management of any maintenance concerns
– Ensure adherence to Mass Management policies
– Ensure documentation is completed and provided to the Office Manager
Requirements
– Must hold MC licence
– MSIC card desirable but not essential
– Ability to pass medical
In addition to transport, we also operate a broadacre cropping farm. If you have any interest in working in agriculture please note this as opportunity may arise from time to time to switch between trucks and farming.
