Hands-on delivery role delivering mail and small parcels to homes and businesses with structured mentoring and support.
Work in a hands-on delivery role, starting each day at the facility before delivering safely to customers, with structured mentoring and support. This role is a temporary 7 month full time position with strong likelihood to move to permanent employment.
You will work Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00am and finishing around 3:00pm with occasional additional hours.
Pay rate is $32.34 per hour for the first three months and then moves to $36.99 once fully trained, plus 12% super, 4 weeks recreational leave accrued per year and other personal leave benefits.
This position requires an experienced motorcyclist who is used to different terrain and weather types.
About the opportunity
In this role you’ll begin each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out to deliver to homes and businesses. You’ll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries with care, and carry out reliable deliveries with safety and consistency guiding every step.
You’ll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who provide hands-on guidance and coaching, helping you build confidence, capability and consistency in the role. About you
– Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence
– Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards, weighing 100 kg or less
– Reliable and detail-focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16 kg
– Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles
