Becoming part of the Stratco logistics family, we are looking for a person with:
– Essential: Heavy Rigid License and driving experience (HR)
– Desirable: Valid Forklift License
– Desirable: Experience operating a truck mounted crane
– Willingness to work metro and country runs
– Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
– Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet customers’ needs
– Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
– Enjoys working autonomously
– Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace
Your responsibilities will include:
– Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
– Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
– Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
– Maintain vehicle and driver log
– Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues and delays
– Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
– Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
– Strict adherence to critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment
