The Little Big Dairy Company is a family-owned dairy manufacturing and distribution company based in Dubbo. Our factory is 15 minutes from Dubbo overlooking the dairy farm.
We bottle 140,000 litres of milk each week to service over 1,000 retail and cafe customers across the state and into the ACT with our premium sustainable dairy products.
We are a rapidly growing company doubling our capacity annually. A combination of uptake in new technology and new team members allows us to meet this growth.
We have complete control of the way our products are produced, from how the grass is grown, how the animals are cared for, through to the way supermarket and café shelves are packed. This gives our customers a high quality, multiple award winning single source milk, with traceability, integrity and transparency throughout the supply chain.

The Role
Working from our Dubbo depot delivering our single source milk to Dubbo and the central west. Being an all round team member. This role is covered by the Road Transport and Distribution Award MA000038 and falls to the ANZSCO 7331 category of employment.
Tasks may include, but limited to:
Transportation and Delivery
Safely operate a truck to transport goods to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
Plan routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Compliance and Safety
Adhere to all road and traffic regulations, including speed limits, weight restrictions, and local laws.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Report any mechanical issues or damages to the appropriate personnel for timely repairs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, trip reports, and other necessary documentation.
Customer Service
Interact professionally with clients and customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to provide updates on delivery status and any potential issues.
Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
Operational Support
Assist with loading and unloading goods at warehouse and delivery sites.
Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to maintain quality and prevent damage.
Follow company policies and procedures for handling and transporting goods.
Maintenance and Record Keeping
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the truck as needed, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels.
Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and company policies.
Provide support to other drivers and team members as needed.
