Q. How much can I earn a week
A. Earnings vary depending on customer demand and your availability
Q. How do I get paid
A. Collect fares from passengers, non-cash payments are transferred into your account
Q. How much will it cost me to start
A. Dependent on the doctor that you visit for your Driver Authorisation Medical it could be approx. $100
Q. How safe is it
A. All bookings are made via App or call centre – NO HAILS off the street. DTMR approved cameras in vehicle. All vehicles are GPS tracked and Duress Alarm fitted
Q. Do I need to do any training and how much will it cost
A. FREE training provided for as long as you need to learn the in car despatch system and Driver Portal
Q. Is there a GPS in the car for directions
A. The terminal has directions to the job, however most drivers prefer Google Maps using the audio
Q. Why do I need to be registered for GST and have an ABN
A. It is an ATO requirement for this industry, and as you are self employed and all fares collected include GST

HOW TO BECOME A DRIVER
Thank you for your recent interest in becoming a driver for 1300 RIDESHARE
If you do not have a Driver Authorisation, we need to get a couple of things started before you can become a driver
STEP ONE
Once you have received the DA you will need to register for an ABN number and become GST registered. This is an ATO requirement
You will need to get a Driver’s Medical and apply for a Driver Authorisation (DA) BHTX endorsed Booked Hire Licence

STEP TWO
Registering for an ABN
Once you have a Driver Authorisation you will need to provide copies of the front and back of Driver Authorisation and your Driver’s Licence
We provide 24/7 support
From here we will then send you some training information to get you started
STEP THREE
Face to face training (approx. 3 hours) covering how to use the dispatch terminal including accepting a job, making a payment in car, via app and account clients. In car training and practice using terminal. Complete weekly summary of fares
