About the Role
As an HC Truck Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering reinforcing steel and associated products throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia using flat-top trailers.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
– Completing metro and regional deliveries safely and efficiently
– Transporting reinforcing steel using flat-top combinations
– Securing loads using correct load restraint procedures
– Conducting daily pre-start vehicle inspections
– Following Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility requirements
– Providing professional customer service at every delivery
– Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented vehicle

What We’re Looking For
– Current HC Licence (minimum requirement)
– Flat-top transport experience preferred
– Sound knowledge of load restraint practices
– Understanding of HVNL and Chain of Responsibility
– Reliable and punctual work ethic
– Strong commitment to workplace safety
– Professional presentation and customer-focused attitude
– Ability to work independently and use initiative
