HC Truck Driver/Storeperson ( Ge Hughes and Construction )

GE Hughes Construction Co is a family based building company based in Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills which work in all facets of the building industry currently seeking a Store Person / HC Truck Driver to join our dynamic team based at Lobethal.

As Hughes is involved in building works from civil, commercial and domestic works and runs our own trades from earthworks, concreting, brickwork, carpentry, cabinetmaking, steelwork and transport, we carry a vast amount of machinery and materials at our depot at Lobethal.

We require a highly motivated Store Person/HC Truck Driver to carry out the following:

• Stock control for materials in and out of the depot
• Receipt of deliveries and allocating to jobs (Forklift Licence required)
• Procurement of plant and materials to site as required by trades
• Organising of items for trades
• Arranging of town runs to collect items as required by relevant trades (HR truck licence minimum)
• Checking plant in and out of depot and co-ordinate with 4 mechanics on site for repairs as required
• Arranging of sheds to store all plant and materials efficiently
• Handyman skills would be a preference for small jobs around the complex
• Assisting loading and unloading trucks and vehicles
• Management of site and complex waste
• Assisting in ensuring WHS regulations are adhered too
• Testing and Tagging (Hughes will train as required)
• HC Drivers Licence
