In order to be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- 100% commitment to Safety and safe operations.
- Certificate IV in Training Driving or equivalent.
- Must be a qualified Locomotive Driver with at least 2 years' recent experience operating heavy haul freight locomotives.
- Display a high level of commitment to customer service.
- Be prepared for 24/7 shift work where clients require coverage.
- Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence (with no restrictions)
- Have a First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 (or be willing to obtain)
- The ability to pass pre-employment recruitment testing, inclusive of CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessments, plus any site-specific tests/inductions required.
- Prepared to undergo ongoing inductions, verifications of competency, short training courses and professional development as directed.
In addition to the above requirements, the following attributes will be considered desirable , but not essential:
- Current QLD Safeworking qualifications
