LR Licence - Full time position - Melbourne Eastern Suburbs location
Salary: $38,000.00 to $43,000.00 /year
The Serviceperson/Driver works within our close-knit team, delivering, servicing and cleaning equipment as well as providing excellent customer service. We're a family owned company that has been hiring to local builders, tradies and DIY renovators for 45 years. The business is growing and we're looking to take on an enthusiastic, customer-focused, responsible and mechanically minded person to our team. New school leavers with these attributes are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Serviceperson/Driver role involves:
- Driving equipment to site and picking it up
- Servicing and cleaning equipment ready for the next hire
- Face-to-face customer service and telephone inquiries
- Providing our customers with advice, safety and operating instructions
- Using our hire software to raise and close hire contracts, enter equipment service records etc
- Being available for occasional overtime
Qualifications and Skills
- Customer focused
- Enthusiastic and driven
- Manual driver's license – green p plates acceptable, heavy vehicle license (light rigid) highly desirable
- Responsible driver
- Mechanically minded
