About the Role:
Citywide is seeking an experienced and hard-working Waste Compactor Truck Drivers to join our Parks and Gardens team based at Banksmeadow to drive and operating a Waste Compactor Truck.
We have a couple of opportunities available including full time weekday or permanent weekend shift. The Waste Compactor Driver/Operator services a range of parks, gardens and recreational areas in the City of Sydney area. Responsibilities for this role will include driving the truck, operating the lifter, emptying and removal of various sized waste bins.
This position will suit individuals with a flexible and adaptable approach to their work and we can accommodate candidates looking for early starts, afternoon and also weekend shifts. The successful applicant will have a strong worth ethic, a team player, customer focussed and enjoy being active.
Essential Skills Required:
Current MR Licence
Ability to work autonomously or in a team
Previous experience operating waste collection vehicles
Ability to read and schedule run sheets
Effective communication skill
Knowledge and appreciation of OH&S practices
