Operating a HR Hook Driver. The successful candidate will collect around Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
1800Drivers is looking for Multiple Experienced Hook Lift Waste Drivers for newly created roles since winning a new contract, you will be based at EPPING.
Successful applicants will:
- Maintain a professional presentation as you are representing their business.
- Provide an effective service vacuum pumping, carting and disposing of a range of Liquid waste including septics and grease traps;
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and /or equipment as and when required;
- Maintain a high standard of presentation of the vehicle, inside and out; and
- Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Collect and dispose of Waste across various locations throughout Melbourne, including grease trap waste, storm water and sewer waste
- Contribute in a positive way to protecting and maintaining public health and the local environment
- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
- Attend to basic maintenance of vehicles.
- Maintain a clean operating vehicle.
- Day-to-day documentation maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence or higher
- Previous HR truck driving experience (preferable)
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including passing a D & A test
