ABOUT THE ROLE: We have an opportunity for you to join the close-knit team in Derrimut as a Delivery Driver in our oil and lubricants delivery team.
This role requires you to be not only a Delivery Driver but also a safety and compliance champion. Your day will start with safety checks and preparing for the day before head out to do multiple drops across Melbourne metro areas.
You will be delivering to commercial and industrial sites and ensuring the highest of safety standards are adhered to and building relationships with the regular customers.
Some Key Information:
- Starting location is Derrimut
- Starting at 6.30am daily, Monday to Friday
- 50-55 Hours Per Week – Lots of overtime available / overtime rates apply
- Permanent Role – Role Stability
ABOUT YOU:
To be considered for the opportunities above you must be able to fulfil the below list of requirements:
- HR Drivers Licence
- 12+ months on-road experience
- A background in dangerous goods or chemical delivery is an advantage but not essential
- Be a proactive, team player with excellent communication skills
- Basic math and English skills required
- Safety and compliance-minded
- Physically fit and healthy including being able to lift up to 20kg repeatedly
- Able to provide 2 work related references
As a part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, National Police Check and Licence History Check. You will also need to provide proof of rights to work in Australia.
