Hi, my name is John De-Roule (JD). I currently hold a current HR and forklift licence (LF). I’m hard working, honest, have a can and will do attitude, am punctual and reliable .

I have been driving various sized trucks for the past 15 years. For the past 5 years I’ve even doing food related delivers on the north side of Brisbane as a contracted owner driver and have a good knowledge of Brisbane CBD and north/south side of Brisbane.

I’m currently looking for work as my contract has now expired.

Early starts are not a problem. I will take any start time and role handed. I am adaptable and willing to try anything with a competitive approach and willingness to succeed.

Daily Duties include:

• Loading of daily consolidated goods using an electric pallet jack (BT)
• Deliver goods to customers ensuring correct stock is delivered by checking off stock against invoice. Goods are then placed in the respective areas such as dry goods, chiller and frozen goods in appropriate areas
• Liase with customers on various questions they may have including forward orders

• Collection of monies if required
• Return to depot and submit monies collected along with daily manifest and Proof of Delivery (POD’s)

Team Leader
During my time at Bidvest I was promoted through various positions from Night Shift Consolidator to Team Leader of Night Shift.
As Team Leader I managed a team of 20+ staff directly in an operational environment as well as another 20+ staff indirectly ensuring the picking and replenishing duties were maintained. I had to maintain the workflow during the shift.
I also had to retrieve late orders from the message bank, phone orders and faxed from customers, inputting orders into the computer using E360 database and deliver picking slips to the appropriate staff members.
I was also responsible for ensuring staffing levels and budgets were maintained at an optimum level to ensure the best result was achieved for the company.

Prior to my promotion to Team Leader I was Leading Hand and had the responsibility of data entry and preparing runs for consolidation including organizing the appropriate sized trucks/vans to complete the runs utilizing the best use of the company fleet.
Responsible for Health and Safety within my team and was the nominated Fire Warden.

Other duties included, day shift consolidation, delivery driving both morning and afternoon shift, stock replenishing using a forklift, picking of orders in all areas and cleaning duties.

Duties included:

Deboning of poultry in the requested cuts to fulfill the orders required for the same day delivery. Packaging of various meat cuts to suitable packages ie: cryovac bags and boxes then labeling the product for dispatch.

• The slaughter of the birds through to processing them for deboning
