with – In the Middle East, employees find it appealing to steal fuel due to low income,
fuel can be untraceable and easily traded for cash, fuel is easy to mask thievery in the absence of effective control systems.

Decreased monthly expenditure on third party transport companies by 50% in the first
month. With the aid of resources e.g. IVMS, HR and re-educating Sales people we
established a functioning strategy. Allocated across 8 different camps in Oman, was
350 prime movers, winch trucks, oilfield bed trucks, tippers, medium rigid and 30 cranes
consisting of 25, 55, 75 and 90-ton cranes, 200 flat bed, low bed and winch trailers.

Following strong negotiations, we were awarded a 5-year renewal contract from Oxy
(Occidental Petroleum Corporation) with a rate increase for the next 5 years, revenue
from this company accounts for 60% of the monthly budget 638,000 OMR (1,800,000 US)

Rig move operations is a critical task, it is a complex process involving numerous
synchronized and instantaneous activities. This level of activity if not managed could
create WH&S problems. Preplanning, direction and abundant supervision of all

Over the years in the industry I produced a Rig Moving QHSE & WHS Management
system, implementing, educating and enforcing improved activities during my
