All Rounder Mining Operator – Excavator/Dozer/Loader ( Fortescue Metals Group )

We are currently seeking Experienced Excavator Mining Operators who have the skills and ability to operate a minimum of 2 other mobile equipment, example (in order of preference) dozer, loader, autonomous haulage. You will be required to operate mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards, to achieve required operational targets for the business.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with FMG values
• Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis
• Meet daily operational targets
• Maintain assets to operational capacity
• Constantly strive to increase process efficiency

Qualifications and skills required:

• Experience on O&K 340, Liebherr 9400/9250/996 and/or Hitachi 3600 excavators
• Dozer D10 and/or D11
• Loader CAT 994 and/or Komatsu 1200
• Autonomous Haulage, e.g. Komatsu Haulage
• WA Class HR Driver's Licence
• Senior First Aid
• Relevant mobile equipment certification
• Demonstrated experience with other earth moving equipment
• Mobile equipment operation in mining industry – desirable
• Ability to skilfully operate a variety of machines
• Ability to read mine plans
• Communication/ interpersonal skills -  two-way operation
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs
• Time management skills
