Still hunting for the next general driver to come through. Plenty of applications, some incorrect timing and not aligning, a lot wanting express as well.
We have a position available for a B Double Interstate operator doing general freight. The role covers all major capital cities, and goes as far up as Townsville/Cairns to Perth and anywhere in between.
We prefer drivers to be based in major capital cities like Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane. Also happy to take applicants based in or around the main highways etc.
Knowing the fundamentals of the general freight side is ideal, however happy to work with the right minded individual (loading and unloading procedures etc).
We have long term contracts and customers that serve us well throughout the year meaning clocking up the km’s is not usually an issue. You most definitely will not be running the Hume or the Pacific every night of the week, meaning the job will not get monotonous.
Understanding NHVAS and compliance is imperative as we run under all component’s (Mass, Maintenance and BFM), and we use technology (apps) to minimize any driver paperwork as much as possible.
Home time is important and we are happy to work with you, some drivers have no issues working away long periods of time, and some require to be home weekly/fortnightly etc. As long as this is clear and transparent we have zero issues working around commitments – In saying that we are all here to work and not we are definitely not interested in $2000 a week take home applicants only wanting to do 3-4 days a week.
Company training/inductions required upon commencement of employment, along with the usual pre employment medicals with D+A testing.
Company uniforms are provided as we like our employees presentable.
This is a full time role, so the usual weekly pay, super, sick leave, annual leave are all standard.
