B-DOUBLE TRUCK DRIVER ( AKD Softwoods )

Job Summary:

AKD Softwoods is a successful and integrated forestry products company, growing and manufacturing quality timber products. Employing over 350 people, AKD Softwoods is well recognised for being a progressive company, employing the latest technologies. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced B-Double Driver, to join our dispatch & logistics team. Our emphasis is on finding the ‘right person’ to continue to build on our team and success oriented culture.

This role will entail transportation of our timber and residue products from our Colac production facilities; primarily to local and Victorian customers.

Essential skills and experience required for the position:

• Multi-combination (B-double) licence
• Previous B-double experience
• Forklift licence (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours (up to 12 hour days)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Positive, well composed attitude is vital
