The job is casual basis with full-time hours available most days, and involves assisting with rubbish removal and decluttering/clearing work from properties.
We are looking for a casual labourer to join our rubbish removal team with the aim of going full time in the future for the right candidate.
Highlights:
- $30ph + super – (flexible hours – start between 7am and 9am with finish times between 3pm-5pm)
- Overtime is required occasionally (including infrequent callouts)
- Small family business with fun team and interesting work (every day is different!)
- Work ute is provided to drive during work hours between jobs.
- Tools are provided
- No one day is the same, and every job site is different
Essential Requirements:
- Have a positive, “can do” attitude.
- Ability to problem solve and use their own initiative
- Good communication skills essential
- Happy to work flexible hours and to work extra hours if necessary to get the job done.
- Makes themselves available to work
- Australian Tax File Number and Superfund details
- Must have their own car and clean driving record
- Must be able to get to our Dandenong South warehouse everyday to collect work ute.
- Their full manual drivers licence
- Be able to drive a manual vehicle and capable of towing a 6 cubic metre trailer
- Experience using power tools; used to safely break down and dismantle furniture.
- Honest, reliable and strong work ethic
- Punctual
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work well with our decluttering and clearing staff
Responsibilities:
- Preparing for jobs, loading up the trailer with rubbish, lifting/moving heavy objects,
- Helping to sort and clear properties and outdoor areas for sale and settlement
- Assist our decluttering and clearing team with removing furniture and rubbish from properties.
- Driving company vehicles to worksite locations from factory.
- Keeping company tools and materials safe.
- Mowing, whipper snippering, mulching, edging and general gardening.
- Pressure washing and general outdoor cleaning and tidy ups

Our warehouse is based in Dandenong South and work is mainly in the East and South East of Melbourne (however we do work all over). Applicants from the east and south eastern suburbs are preferable.
