Cervello Global Corporation is seeking Delivery Driver/Fulfillment Associates in the Specialized Transportation Services (STS) division to handle sensitive DoD or commercial cargo shipment in Sydney, Australia.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Conduct positive advance shipment planning and liaise with points of contact representing consignor, consignee, and transportation service provider dispatcher to ensure safe, secure, cost-effective transport of any security risk code SRC?I, SRC?II, and/or Nuclear Weapons Related Material (NWRM) materials.
– Review and comply with destination consignee’s Transportation Facilities Guide (TFG) special instructions for routing and delivery restrictions, including delivery hours and secure holding capabilities.
– Complete multiple deliveries per day.
– Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisations; submit documentation to the customer on time.
– Use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanners when required.
– Lift heavy products or parcels as needed.
– Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe work environment.
– Keep the company or rental vehicle clean and ensure vehicles are well-maintained, fueled, oiled and ready to drive.
– Communicate with origin and/or destination customers by phone to update them on delivery times if issues or changes occur.
– Follow pre-planned routes accurately without deviation from set course or TFG.
– Maintain communication with Cervello STS management to be informed of customer requested changes to delivery, route or last-tactical-mile schedule.
– Inform management immediately of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time.
