Arafura Catering Equipment is a Darwin based owned and operated family business. Providing all aspects of design, sales and servicing to the Hospitality Industry of Darwin, NT & Northern Australia
We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse storeperson.
The successful applicant must be a self-motivated, confident and reliable person. This person must also have excellent organisation and communication skills.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Heavy lifting, packing and unpacking incoming/outgoing stock
- Local deliveries – Darwin, Palmerston & Rural areas
- Assisting sales and service departments
- Maintaining warehouse and shop storeroom
Applicants must possess the following;
- Be a permanent Darwin resident
- NT MR Truck Drivers licence
- Forklift
- Knowledge of the Greater Darwin region
- Basic speaking and written English
- No medical limitations in regard to lifting and handling heavy items (within company safety limitations)
- Be a team player and able to communicate with management on a daily basis
- White Card (not essential but is preferred)
Logistic/Transport industry experience in a similar role would be highly regarded
